باب مَنْ رَخَّصَ في الْحَدِيثِ إِذَا أَصَابَ الْمَعْنَى:Chapter: Permissibility of Narrating if the Meaning is Correct
Hadith 325
أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، قَالَ: "كَانَ الْحَسَنُ يُحَدِّثُ بِالْحَدِيثِ الْأَصْلُ وَاحِدٌ، وَالْكَلَامُ مُخْتَلِفٌ".
Jarir bin Hazim said: When Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated a hadith, the subject would be the same but the wording would be different. (That is, he would narrate by meaning.)
