حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ: "مِلَاكُ الْوَصِيَّةِ آخِرُهَا".
It is narrated from Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The last will is the real one.

From these narrations, it is established that making changes in a will (wasiyyah) is permissible, and the last will shall be considered valid for execution; any previous will shall be abrogated.
