باب مَا لِلنِّسَاءِ مِنَ الْوَلاَءِ:Chapter on women's share of wala'
Hadith 3185
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: "لَيْسَ لِلنِّسَاءِ مِنْ الْوَلَاءِ شَيْءٌ، إِلَّا مَا أَعْتَقَتْ هِيَ فيَ نَفْسِهَا".
It is narrated from Mughira that Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Women have no share in wala’ (the right of inheritance from a freed slave), except for the woman who herself frees a slave.
