باب مِيرَاثِ السَّائِبَةِ:Chapter on inheritance of the freed slave
Hadith 3151
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ وَرْدَانَ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ: سُئِلَ عَنْ مِيرَاثِ السَّائِبَةِ، فَقَالَ: "كُلُّ عَتِيقٍ سَائِبَةٌ".
It is narrated from Yunus that Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked about the inheritance of a freed slave. He replied: Every freed slave is a Saibah (i.e., his inheritance belongs to the one who set him free).
