حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ، قَالَ: "أَقَرَّتْ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ مُحَارِبٍ جَلِيبَةٌ بِنَسَبٍ لَهَا جَلِيبٍ، فَوَرَّثَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ مِنْ أُخْتِهِ".
Ash'ath bin Abi al-Sha'tha said: A woman from Banu Muharib acknowledged the lineage of her brother Julaib, so Abdullah bin Uqbah made her brother her heir.

It is mentioned in Musannaf ‘Abd al-Razzaq: A slave woman passed away leaving behind a large amount of wealth. A man claimed that she used to call him her brother, meaning his claim was that he was her brother. Consequently, Qadi Shurayh gave all of that woman’s wealth to him.
