باب فِيمَنْ أَعْطَى ذَوِي الأَرْحَامِ دُونَ الْمَوَالِي:Chapter on giving inheritance to distant relatives instead of freed slaves
Hadith 3054
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ: أَنَّ مَوْلَاةً لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ تُوُفِّيَتْ وَتَرَكَتْ مَالًا، فَقُلْتُ لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ، فَقَالَ: "إِنَّ لَهَا ذَا قَرَابَةٍ".
It is narrated from Abu al-Haytham that the slave woman of Ibrahim died and left behind a lot of wealth. I drew Ibrahim's attention towards her inheritance, so he said: Her close relative is present.
