It is narrated from Abu al-Haytham that the slave woman of Ibrahim died and left behind a lot of wealth. I drew Ibrahim's attention towards her inheritance, so he said: Her close relative is present.

That is, only the one who is a close relative will be the heir, and the master who emancipated (the slave) has no right in this regard. The opinion of Ibrahim rahimahullah has already been mentioned previously, in which he considered the emancipator (mawla al-itq) entitled to what remains of the wealth; that very opinion is correct.
