Hadith 3043

Mughira said: I asked Ibrahim, may Allah have mercy on him: A man freed his slave, then both the slave and the one who freed him died, and the one who freed him left behind his father and his own son. So he (Ibrahim) said: The father gets his share, and whatever remains (due to being 'Asabah) is for his son.

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Ahadith 3040 to 3043)

The statement of Sha’bi has already been mentioned above, that the entire wealth of a freed slave will be inherited by the son of the emancipator, because this is an issue of walā’ (right of emancipation). Here, Ibrahim rahimahullah has said that, like the general right of inheritance, one-sixth will go to the father and the remaining five parts will go to the son.

And Allah knows best what is correct.
