باب في ابْنِ الْمُلاَعَنَةِ:Chapter on the child of the woman who invoked the curse (li'an)
Hadith 2999
حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَزْرَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي وَلَدِ الْمُلَاعَنَةِ هُوَ الَّذِي لَا أَبَ لَهُ "تَرِثُهُ أُمُّهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ مِنْ أُمِّهِ، ِوَعَصَبَةُُ أُمِّهِ، فَإِنْ قَذَفَهُ قَاذِف، جُلِدَ قَاذِفُهُ".
It is narrated from Sa'id bin Jubair that Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported regarding the child of those who have invoked mutual cursing (li'an): The mother, her maternal brothers, and her 'asaba (male relatives from the mother's side) will be his heirs if his father is not known. If anyone accuses him of adultery, he will be flogged (eighty lashes for the accusation of adultery).
