باب في الْجَدَّاتِ:Chapter on grandmothers
Hadith 2966
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: "أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَطْعَمَ جَدَّةً سُدُسًا".
It is narrated from Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the grandmother one-sixth (a sixth share).
