باب في زَوْجٍ وَأَبَوَيْنِ وَامْرَأَةٍ وَأَبَوَيْنِ:Chapter on a husband, two parents, a wife, and two parents
Hadith 2904
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي امْرَأَةٍ تَرَكَتْ زَوْجَهَا وَأَبَوَيْهَا: "لِلزَّوْجِ النِّصْفُ، وَلِلْأُمِّ ثُلُثُ مَا بَقِيَ".
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) said about the woman who leaves behind her husband and parents: the husband will receive half, and the mother will receive one third of what remains.
