It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas and Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with them). Shu’bah said: And Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) is the one who was the first to shoot an arrow in the way of Allah, and Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) is the one who climbed the fort of Ta’if and descended towards the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Both these companions narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever claims to be the son of anyone other than his father, knowing that he is not his father, Paradise is forbidden for him.”
