Hadith 2881

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This fire of yours (in this world) is one seventieth part of the fire of Hell (in its heat and destructive power)."

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 2880)

It is stated in the Sahihayn: When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam explained that the fire of this world is one part out of seventy parts of the fire of Hell, one of the Companions asked: O Messenger of Allah! Even this worldly fire would have been sufficient for punishment.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam replied: In comparison to the fire of this world, the fire of Hell is sixty-nine times greater.
From this, it is understood how terrifying, intense, and destructive that fire will be.
(May Allah protect us from it.)
