أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ لَيَتَرَاءَوْنَ أَهْلَ الْغُرَفِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَمَا تَرَوْنَ الْكَوْكَبَ الدُّرِّيَّ فِي السَّمَاءِ" . ¤ قَالَ أَبُو حَازِمٍ: فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ، فَحَدَّثَنِي , عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ: أَنَّهُ قَالَ: "الْكَوْكَبُ الدُّرِّيُّ فِي السَّمَاءِ الشَّرْقِيُّ وَالْغَرْبِيُّ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever enters Paradise will have two wives, the marrow of whose shins will be visible from beneath seventy garments due to their beauty, and there will be no one in Paradise without a wife."

Among the blessings of Paradise is another blessing: the houris with beautiful, wide eyes (hur ‘ayn), whose beauty, elegance, and qualities are also mentioned in the Noble Qur’an; this can be observed in Surah ar-Rahman and Surah al-Waqi‘ah. Here in this hadith as well, their mention is found, and it is stated that every person will have two wives. These are in addition to the worldly wives; those righteous wives will also be with their husbands in Paradise. From this, it is understood that even in Paradise, the number of women will be greater than that of men.
