باب في أَدْنَى أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلاً:Chapter on the lowest ranked person in Paradise
Hadith 2864
أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "إِنَّ أَدْنَى أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلًا مَنْ يَتَمَنَّى عَلَى اللَّهِ، فَيُقَالُ لَهُ: لَكَ ذَاكَ وَمِثْلُهُ مَعَهُ . إِلَّا أَنَّهُ يُلَقَّى سِوَى كَذَا وَكَذَا، فَيُقَالُ لَهُ: ذَاكَ لَكَ وَمِثْلُهُ مَعَهُ". قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "فَيُقَالُ لَهُ: ذَاكَ وَعَشْرَةُ أَمْثَالِهِ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The person of the lowest rank in Paradise will be the one who will wish from Allah Almighty, and it will be said to him: For you is as much as you have desired and the like of it in addition, and it will be said to him (in one narration: he will be prompted): Ask for such and such and such, and in response it will be said to him: What you have asked for and the like of it in addition is for you."
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It will be said to him: This and ten times the like of it is for you."
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It will be said to him: This and ten times the like of it is for you."
