Hadith 2863

أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "يَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: أَعْدَدْتُ لِعِبَادِي الصَّالِحِينَ مَا لَا عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ وَلَا أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ، وَلَا خَطَرَ عَلَى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ، وَاقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ: فَلا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ سورة السجدة آية 17".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says: I have prepared for My righteous servants that which no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and has never occurred to the heart of any human (i.e., it has never even been imagined). If you wish, then recite this: «﴿فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ﴾» (As-Sajdah 17/32) Translation: No soul knows what comfort of the eyes has been hidden for them as a reward for what they used to do.”
Brief Explanation

The Holy Qur’an and the Hadith of the Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) both convey the same meaning: that Allah Ta’ala has prepared such blessings in Paradise for His righteous servants that a human being cannot even imagine them. From this, the existence of Paradise and its blessings is also established, and it is also proven that this is not merely an idea or an illusion.
