It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): Abu Asim was asked, "Did he narrate from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" He said, "Yes. The people of Paradise will neither urinate, nor blow their noses, nor defecate. Instead, they will only belch. They will eat and drink, and glorification and praise (of Allah) will be inspired to them just as breathing is inspired."
Paradise is that pure realm where the waste from eating is not like that of this world; rather, there, the waste will be expelled as a belch and fragrant sweat. And just as life in this world depends on inhaling air and breathing, similarly, in that pure realm, saying "Subhan Allah" and "Alhamdulillah" will take the place of breathing and will be a source of comfort for the soul.
Imam Nawawi rahimahullah has said: The creed of Ahl al-Sunnah and the majority of Muslims is that the people of Paradise will eat and drink and enjoy all pleasures, and these blessings in Paradise will remain forever and will never end. And the blessings of Paradise only resemble the blessings of this world; their reality is something else.
