باب في جَنَّاتِ الْفِرْدَوْسِ:Chapter on the gardens of Firdaws
Hadith 2857
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُدَامَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "جَنَّاتُ الْفِرْدَوْسِ أَرْبَعٌ: ثِنْتَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ: حِلْيَتُهُمَا وَآنِيَتُهُمَا، وَمَا فِيهِمَا، وَثِنْتَانِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ: حِلْيَتُهُمَا وَآنِيَتُهُمَا وَمَا فِيهِمَا، وَلَيْسَ بَيْنَ الْقَوْمِ وَبَيْنَ أَنْ يَنْظُرُوا إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا رِدَاءُ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ، وَهَذِهِ الْأَنْهَارُ تَشْخُبُ مِنْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ فِي جَوْبَةٍ ثُمَّ تَصْعَدُ بَعْدُ أَنْهَارًا" . قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ: جَوْبَةٌ: مَا يُجَابُ عَنْهُ الْأَرْضُ.
Abu Bakr bin Abdullah bin Qais narrated from his father, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The gardens of Paradise (Jannat al-Firdaws) are four: two gardens of gold, their ornaments, vessels, and everything in them is of gold; and two gardens of silver, their ornaments, vessels, and everything in them is of silver. And in the Gardens of Eden, between the people and the sight of Allah, there will be nothing but the veil of Majesty over Allah’s Face. And these rivers flow out from the Gardens of Eden and afterwards fall from a pit into the rivers."
Imam Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Jubah is that by which the journey of the earth is traversed."
