With this chain also, a narration similar to the previous one is reported from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him).

Brief Explanation
(Explanation of Hadiths 2839 to 2841) From these two hadiths, one can perceive the mercy, compassion, and love of the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, for his ummah: that he was granted by the Lord of the worlds the privilege of a supplication whose acceptance was already assured, and he was aware of this as well. Yet, neither for his own self nor for his family did he ask anything; rather, he reserved the right of this supplication for the benefit of his ummah. May my father and mother be sacrificed for him! May Allah Ta'ala make us worthy of attaining the intercession of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. (Ameen).
