باب مَنْ هَابَ الْفُتْيَا مَخَافَةَ السَّقَطِ:Chapter: Those Who Feared Giving Fatwa Out of Fear of Mistakes
Hadith 283
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ أَنَسٌ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَكَانَ إِذَا حَدَّثَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ".
Imam Muhammad (Ibn Sirin), may Allah have mercy on him, said that Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, used to narrate less from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and when he would narrate something from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, he would say: «أو كما قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم» .
