باب مَنْ هَابَ الْفُتْيَا مَخَافَةَ السَّقَطِ:Chapter: Those Who Feared Giving Fatwa Out of Fear of Mistakes
Hadith 282
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: مَرَّ بِنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، فَقُلْنَا حَدِّثْنَا بِبَعْضِ مَا سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟، فَقَالَ: "وَأَتَحَلَّلُ".
Abdul Malik bin Ubaid said that Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by us, so we said: Please narrate to us something from what you heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: «واتحلل» that is, by saying «أو كما قال» and the like, I will make it permissible.
