باب مَا أُكْرِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ تَفْجِيرِ الْمَاءِ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ:Chapter: The Miracle of Water Flowing from the Prophet's Fingers
Hadith 28
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْجَعْدُ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: شَكَى أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَطَشَ، "فَدَعَا بِعُسٍّ، فَصُبَّ فِيهِ مَاءٌ، وَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ فِيهِ"، قَالَ: فَجَعَلْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْمَاءِ يَنْبُعُ عُيُونًا مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالنَّاسُ يَسْتَقُونَ حَتَّى اسْتَقَى النَّاسُ كُلُّهُمْ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) complained to him about severe thirst. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had a large bowl brought, poured water into it, and placed his hand over it. I was watching the water gushing forth like a spring from between the fingers of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and the people were drinking from it until all of them were satisfied.
