باب مَنْ رَاءَى رَاءَى اللَّهُ بِهِ:Chapter: Whoever shows off, Allah will expose him
Hadith 2783
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو صَخْرٍ , أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَكْحُولًا يَقُولُ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هِنْدٍ الدَّارِيُّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ: "مَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ، رَاءَى اللَّهُ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَسَمَّعَ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hind Dari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever assumes a position of showing off and seeking to be heard, Allah will treat him in the same way with showing off and seeking to be heard on the Day of Resurrection." (That is, on the Day of Resurrection, Allah will expose his deeds before the creation and will make his hypocrisy heard by the people.)
