Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadiths 2744 to 2747)
From all these hadiths, the importance of the tongue becomes evident. It is a reality that because of the tongue, a person becomes deserving of Paradise, and due to the tongue, he is cast into Hell; therefore, only good words should come from the tongue. In a hadith, it is stated that whoever believes in Allah Ta'ala and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent. It is necessary to protect one’s tongue from lying, backbiting, tale-bearing, evil speech, abusive language, obscene and filthy songs, and conversations. Further details are coming ahead.
