Hadith 2736

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: A slave was leading the riding animal of the Noble Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) wives, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “O Anjashah! Carry the glass vessels gently.”

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 2735)

Qawareer refers to glass or glass bottles.
By this is meant women (the Mothers of the Believers), who are in reality as delicate as glass.
Anjasha, the slave, was the camel driver and had a very melodious voice, and due to his singing, the camels became excited and started running swiftly.
The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) feared that the women might fall, so he said: "Drive gently."
The aspect of humor or jest in this is that women were likened to glass and were described as delicate like glass.
This simile was very excellent.
Women are indeed delicate in this way.
It is a great favor of the Mercy to the Worlds (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) upon the delicate gender that he constantly reminded men of their weakness and delicacy at every step.
