It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would return from his journey, he would supplicate: “«آئِبُوْنَإِنْشَاءَاللّٰهُ ...... حَامِدُوْنِ» That is, we are returning, if Allah wills, as those who repent, those who worship, those who praise their Lord.”

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadiths 2714 to 2717) In Sahih Bukhari, the complete supplication is as follows: «لَاإِلٰهَإِلَّااللّٰهُوَحْدَهُلَاشَرِيكَلَهُ ، لَهُالْمُلْكُوَلَهُالْحَمْدُوَهُوَعَلَىكُلِّشَيْءٍقَدِيرٌ ، آيِبُونَتَائِبُونَعَابِدُونَسَاجِدُونَلِرَبِّنَاحَامِدُونَ ، صَدَقَاللّٰهُوَعْدَهُوَنَصَرَعَبْدَهُوَهَزَمَالْأَحْزَابَوَحْدَهُ» There is no deity except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, sovereignty belongs to Him and all praise is for Him, and He is powerful over everything. We are returning, repenting, worshipping, prostrating to our Lord and praising Him. Allah fulfilled His promise, helped His servant, and defeated all the armies alone. (This is a reference to the conquest of Makkah.)
