The sister of Sayyiduna Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon to us and said: "O women! Can you not wear silver jewelry? Listen: Any woman among you who wears gold jewelry and displays it (i.e., shows her adornment to men out of pride, arrogance, and immodesty), she will be afflicted with punishment because of it."
