Sayyiduna Saeed bin Hareeth (may Allah be pleased with him), who had the honor of the companionship of the Messenger (peace be upon him), said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "Whoever among you sells a house or land, it is possible that there will be no blessing in its money unless he invests that price in another house."

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Ahadith 2659 to 2661)
If this hadith is authentic, then it is a great admonition for the worldly people. Cash money that is kept often gets spent or sometimes is lost, in contrast to immovable property, that is, land and real estate. This is why selling property is disliked, unless another property is purchased in exchange for it, because keeping cash money, in comparison, it would have been better to let the property remain with oneself.
