باب في النَّهْيِ عَنْ بَيْعِ الطَّعَامِ قَبْلَ الْقَبْضِ:Chapter: Prohibition of Selling Food Before Taking Possession
Hadith 2595
أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا، فَلَا يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever buys any kind of grain (produce), he should not sell it before taking possession of it."
