باب في النَّهْيِ عَنْ الاِحْتِكَارِ:Chapter: Prohibition of Hoarding
Hadith 2580
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "الْجَالِبُ مَرْزُوقٌ، وَالْمُحْتَكِرُ مَلْعُونٌ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who brings goods from outside will be provided with sustenance, and curse will be upon the one who hoards and stores them."
