باب في بَيَانِ قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الصَّلاَةُ جَامِعَةٌ»:Chapter: Explanation of the Prophet’s Call: "Prayer is Gathered"
Hadith 2485
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ سُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ: قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَبَاحٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، وَكَانَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ تُفَقِّهُهُ . قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَتَادَةَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ"بَعَثَ جَيْشَ الْأُمَرَاءِ، قَالَ: فَانْطَلَقُوا فَلَبِثُوا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ، ثُمَّ صَعِدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمِنْبَرَ، فَأَمَرَ فَنُودِيَ: الصَّلَاةُ جَامِعَةٌ".
Khalid bin Sameer said: Abdullah bin Rabah Ansari came to us. The Ansar considered him a jurist. He said: Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to us that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent out an army of commanders. They went and stayed as long as Allah willed. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ascended the pulpit and gave an order, so it was announced: «الصَّلَاةُ جَامِعَةٌ» meaning the prayer is ready.
