أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ مِشْرَحٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: "كُلُّ مَيِّتٍ يُخْتَمُ عَلَى عَمَلِهِ إِلَّا الْمُرَابِطَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُجْرَى لَهُ عَمَلُهُ حَتَّى يُبْعَثَ".
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The deeds of every deceased person come to an end except for the one who stands guard in the way of Allah; his deeds continue to increase until he is resurrected."
