باب في فَضْلِ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِياً:Chapter: Virtue of Equipping a Warrior
Hadith 2456
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، أَوْ خَلَفَ فِي أَهْلِهِ، كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مِثْلَ أَجْرِهِ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الْغَازِي شَيْئًا".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever equips a warrior in the path of Allah, and looks after the family and household of the warrior in a good manner in his absence, Allah Almighty will write for him the reward of the fighter and warrior, and nothing will be diminished from the reward of the warrior."
