باب فَضْلِ الْغُبَارِ في سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ:Chapter: Virtue of Dust in Allah’s Path
Hadith 2434
أَخْبَرَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ شُرَيْحٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ: أَنَّ مَالِكَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مَرَّ عَلَى حَبِيبِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ أَوْ حَبِيبٌ مَرَّ عَلَى مَالِكٍ وَهُوَ يَقُودُ فَرَسًا وَهُوَ يَمْشِي، فَقَالَ: أَلا تَرْكَبُ حَمَلَكَ اللَّهُ ؟، فَقَالَ: إِنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، حَرَّمَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ".
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Sulaiman that Malik bin Abdullah passed by Habib bin Muslimah, or Habib passed by Malik, who was holding the reins of his horse and walking on foot. He said: Why do you not ride? May Allah make you ride. He said: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever's two feet become dusty in the way of Allah, Allah has made the fire of Hell forbidden for him."
