Sayyiduna Muti’ (may Allah be pleased with him) said: On the day of the conquest of Makkah, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “After today, no Quraishi shall ever be tied up and beaten until the Day of Resurrection.”

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 2422)

Sayyiduna Muti’ radi Allahu anhu was a Companion and embraced Islam on the day of the conquest of Makkah. His name was ‘Asi, meaning “disobedient,” but the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam changed it to Muti’, which means “obedient.” The explanation of the hadith is coming ahead.
