Hadith 2407

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This and this (all) are equal," and he pointed towards the little finger and the thumb.

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 2406)

From this hadith, it is understood that the little fingers, the ring finger, and the thumb are all equal in blood money (diyah), even though the thumb has only two joints, and the ring finger is smaller compared to the larger fingers, and the thumb is more useful than the ring finger. However, the blood money (diyah) for each will be ten camels.
