Hadith 2406

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All fingers are equal." Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) said: (On each finger) there are ten. He (the Prophet) said: "Yes."

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 2405)

From this hadith, it is understood that the blood money (diyah) for each finger of the hand and foot is ten camels; for each finger, one-tenth of the total diyah. If someone cuts off all ten fingers of a person, then the full diyah becomes obligatory.

It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas radi Allahu anhuma that the fingers of the hand and the toes of the foot are all equal, and for each finger there are ten camels, as will be mentioned ahead.
