باب في عِدَّةِ الْحَامِلِ الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا وَالْمُطَلَّقَةِ:Chapter: Waiting Period for Pregnant Widows and Divorcees
Hadith 2317
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: "تُوُفِّيَ زَوْجُ سُبَيْعَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ، فَوَضَعَتْ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا بِأَيَّامٍ، فَأَمَرَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تَتَزَوَّجَ".
It is narrated from Kuraib that Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Sayyida Subai'a bint al-Harith's (may Allah be pleased with her) husband passed away, and a few days after his death, Sayyida Subai'a (may Allah be pleased with her) gave birth to a child. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered her to get married.
