باب الْمَرْأَةِ يُزَوِّجُهَا الْوَلِيَّانِ:Chapter: A Woman Married by Two Guardians
Hadith 2230
أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ أَوْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: "أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ لَهَا، فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا، وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ بَاعَ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ، فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا" .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir or Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a woman is married by two guardians (each to a different man), then she will belong to the one whose marriage took place first. And if a person sells a thing to two men, then it will belong to the one to whom it was sold first."
