Hadith 2175

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سِبَاعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ الْكَعْبِيَّةِ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: "ذَهَبَتْ النُّبُوَّةُ وَبَقِيَتْ الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ".
Lady Umm Karz al-Ka'biyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Prophethood has ended (that is, there will be no prophet after me), but glad-tiding dreams will remain."

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 2174)

From this hadith, it is also understood that some dreams are true, through which Allah Ta'ala grants His servants reassurance and happiness.

This hadith is authentic and the statement of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is indeed true.
