Hadith 2157

It is narrated from Thumamah bin Abdullah that Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, used to drink water in two or three breaths and used to say that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would breathe two or three times over the vessel of water (i.e., he would drink water in two or three breaths).
