Hadith 2131

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He will not enter Paradise: one who is disobedient to his parents, one who reminds others of his favors, and one who is addicted to drinking alcohol (a habitual drunkard)."

Brief Explanation
(The Explanation of Hadiths 2129 to 2131)

The referencing of this hadith has already been mentioned above, and from these hadiths it is understood that these three types of people will enter Hell and will not be able to enter Paradise.

Therefore, it is necessary to avoid reminding others of favors, disobedience to parents, and drinking alcohol.

In the present era, these moral diseases have greatly increased; disobedience to parents is common, people remind others of even a small favor as if it is a great one, and nowadays drinking alcohol is also becoming widespread. Such people should fear Allah and, reflecting on the aforementioned hadith, repent from these evil actions and keep away from them.

May Allah grant the general Muslims the ability to do so.

Ameen.
