Hadith 2127

Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever drank alcohol in the world and did not repent from it, he will be deprived of it in the Hereafter; the (Paradise's) wine will not be given to him."

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 2126)

That is, if he will not be able to enter Paradise at all, then how will he attain the wine of Paradise? Drinking wine is a major sin (gunah-e-kabirah). Whoever drinks wine and does not repent will be deprived of the wine of Paradise. By repenting, sins are forgiven and the sinner becomes pure and clean: «التَّائِبُ مِنَ الذَّنْبِ كَمَنْ لَا ذَنْبَ لَهُ (al-hadith).
