Hadith 2123

With this chain also, a narration similar to the previous one is reported from Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her). Imam Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: If the ghee is melted, then all of it should be thrown away.

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Ahadith 2120 to 2123)

From all these ahadith and narrations, it is understood that if a mouse falls into ghee (clarified butter) and dies, then if the ghee is solidified, the ghee around the area should be thrown away and the remaining ghee may be consumed, provided it has not been affected. If the ghee is melted, then all of it should be discarded, because there is a risk of harm to human health from it.

And Allah knows best.
