Hadith 2120

It is narrated from Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a mouse that had fallen into ghee. He said: “Remove it and throw away the ghee around it, and (the remaining ghee) eat it.”

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 2119)

This ruling applies in the case when the clarified butter (ghee) is solidified, because the impurity’s effect will not reach the entire ghee. If the ghee is melted, then it is better to discard all of it.
And Allah knows best.
