باب فِيمَنِ اسْتَحَبَّ أَنْ يَنْهَسَ اللَّحْمَ وَلاَ يَقْطَعَهُ:Chapter: Preferring to Bite Meat Rather Than Cut It
Hadith 2107
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ: أَبُو أُمَيَّةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ: زَوَّجَنِي أَبِي فِي إِمَارَةِ عُثْمَانَ، فَدَعَا رَهْطًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَكَانَ فِيمَنْ دَعَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "انْهَسُوا اللَّحْمَ نَهْسًا، فَإِنَّهُ أَشْهَى وَأَمْرَأُ".
Abdullah bin Harith bin Naufal said: My father married me during the caliphate of Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), so he invited a group of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to the wedding. Among those invited was Sayyiduna Safwan bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him), who was elderly. He said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Tear the meat with your teeth and eat it, for eating meat in this way is very delicious and very beneficial."
