Hadith 21

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) that we went out with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to some outskirts of Makkah, and whichever mountain or tree came before us, it said: O Messenger of Allah, peace be upon you.

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadiths 16 to 21)

❀ This is from the greatness and veneration of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) that even stones would greet him. This is a miracle of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam); Allah, the Exalted, granted even inanimate objects the ability to speak for his sake. Furthermore, it shows that even before receiving prophethood, the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was honored and revered.
