أَخْبَرَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عن قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، نَحْوَهُ.
Abu Mulaikh narrated from his father, who narrated from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the same manner.
Brief Explanation

From these narrations, the prohibition of spreading and wearing the skins of predatory animals is established, because among worldly people, spreading and wearing them becomes a cause of arrogance and pride (Wahidi).
In one narration of Abu Dawood (4128), it is stated: The angels separate themselves from those who possess the skin of a cheetah.
Therefore, it is not permissible to sit on the skins of lions and cheetahs.
