حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنْ سِبَاعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "عَنْ الْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ مِثْلَانِ، وَعَنْ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ".
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Karz (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For a boy, two similar goats, and for a girl, one goat."
