It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that after performing the stoning (Rami), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sat down to answer the people's questions. A companion came to him and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I shaved my head before slaughtering the camel." He replied: "There is no harm." Another companion came and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I performed the Tawaf (Ifadah) before throwing the pebbles." He replied: "There is no harm." Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whatever was asked about, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "There is no harm." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The whole plain of Arafat is a place of standing, the whole of Muzdalifah is a place of staying, and all of Mina is a place of sacrifice, and all the roads of Makkah are paths and places for sacrifice."

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 1916)
On the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the pilgrims are required to perform four acts: (1) Rami (stoning), (2) Sacrifice (Qurbani), (3) Shaving or shortening of the hair (Halaq or Taqsir), (4) Tawaf al-Ziyarah.
Among these, the best time for Rami is from sunrise until the zenith (zawal), and it is permissible until sunset; it can also be performed at night. As for the rest: sacrifice, shaving, and tawaf, there is no fixed time; they can be performed whenever convenient.
The preferred order is as mentioned above, but if there is advancement or delay, there is no harm, just as the answer of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to every question regarding advancement or delay was: “Do it, there is no harm.” Then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: The entire plain of Arafat is a place for standing (wuquf), the entire Muzdalifah is a place for staying, and the whole of Mina is a place for sacrifice. Therefore, at the aforementioned locations, standing (wuquf) in Arafat, staying in Muzdalifah, and sacrifice anywhere in Mina can be performed.
And the sacrifice of Hajj can be performed anywhere in Makkah, as is explicitly stated in the last sentence of the hadith.
