باب في قِيَامِ رَمَضَانَ:Chapter: Night Prayers in Ramadan
Hadith 1814
حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ، وَمَنْ قَامَ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever prays Tarawih during the nights of Ramadan with faith and seeking reward, all his previous sins will be forgiven, and whoever stands in prayer on the Night of Qadr with faith and seeking reward, all his previous sins will be forgiven."
